Wired Connection Works But Wireless Does Not
I tried this and received wireless internet, but my main comp, which the router is plugged into, received nothing.Problem:The computer hard-wired into my router does not receive internet, but the router Show Ignored Content Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next > As Seen On Welcome to Tech Support Guy! Is there some way I can check the WEP to see if I have the right one? Wired Connection Works But Wireless Does Not
our wireless randomly stopped working a couple days ago, after lots of research and a 20 minute conversation with a linksys tech support member whose accent was non-understandable, i was forwarded Conversely, I've seen a couple work flawlessly for years. This was not an issue before the firmware flash. Today I followed your instructions and made the changes in my Lynksys wrt45G router, powered up my work laptop, crossed my fingers and wala I'm connected.

If getting Valid Ip .... That guy just will not quit. Wired Connection Works But Wireless Does Not It's almost as if my connection is bypassing the router entirely, even though the cable runs directly to it. Wired Internet Working But Not Wifi We verified with neighbors that it wasn't an outage.

Almost always the router is visible on the air, and will apparently connect to a remote computer, but will not pass data. Click on the Save Settings button. Still don't have the "reason" behind it, but started with us not being able to access POP email and certain web pages (we noticed it originally on our webmail logins ... I am trashing this router and looking for another. They had me plug my i-net directly into my modem. If you have 802.11n support than some AP/Routers can use 2 channels.

This laptop is wired to Port #2 of the router. Any help would be appreciated! "wireless network connection" shows my laptop has a 1390 wlan mini card.
