Auto Hide Taskbar Not Working
Only with itunes, no. Reading this post finally jogged my memory that I figured out how to fix it way back then. Unlike some others. I went to the Right hand task bar and clicked on the up arrow (show hidden icons) then went to customize and changed everthing But the Volume to only shownotification . navigate here
However, I've found that if I click on an area of the taskbar devoid of icons, then click on somewhere on the screen above the taskbar, then click on the full-screen Any other solutions or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Today I got a clue: I had both the Lenovo power mgr and the Windows power manager on the task bar. All my other applications play nicely with the taskbar but not this version of ITunes.

AAAAARRRGGHHHH!!!! Get downloadable ebooks for free! Windows 7 has not solved this problem and it's obvious Microsoft doesn't give a damn about resolving it either.
I have never experienced this problem using XP, but it has plagued me since switching to Vista. Anyone tried to recreate the bug in a Windows 7 RC yet? it wanted me to set up backups. I don't mean that to say it doesn't matter, but over on the their blog, Microsoft noted that only 4.97% of people use that option(about 3/4 of the way down that his comment is here If the task bar needs to be on top with at least one row of pixels visible, it is Windows' responsibility to ensure that this is the case.

I don't have ANY notifications, and the damned task bar still won't go away.

I've tried everything on my settings to no avail. said to turn off notifications about backups and the problem cleared up. Apply. It does not always happen, but it's very annoying when it does so just randomly.
If that does work, be happy. I use R-drive image to back up my Crive, as I am not completely confident with system restore, so I first made an image of my Crive, so I could recover I never found any difference in my computer before and after an update. My taskbar would not auto-hide, no matter how many times I checked / applied / unchecked the auto-hide option. no, the check box doesn't work Tttt Optional: Login below. If microsoft want us users to have the taskbar constantly up, then maximised programs should respond intelligently to that, and NOT USE THAT SPACE and until they do, i'm afraid it's NUTS.Why can we not truly choose to AUTOHIDE the taskbar?!! Great script. Check all your system tray icons to see if any of them are in a state of alert.
